Clarity:
The quality of transparency or purity.
I’m sure we’ve all had the feeling of no direction. Like you’re standing atop a cloudy mountain. You know there’s a valley below but you can’t see ahead of you. You know there’s a great life ahead of you but you can’t seem to find it. Not knowing the next step is freaky. But it’s an important part of life. Finding clarity can be hard. But important.
I know what I want. I just don’t know how to get there. What steps? What people? Where?
I know chasing happiness doesn’t bring it and running after pleasure won’t bring it closer. So what I chase. Is fulfillment and meaning. But where to find it?

The great Persian poet, Hafez. Summed up of big idea in my life. If your schedule is full of draining tasks you’ll always be tired. If you can fill it with lots of energizing and interesting things. You might just find life to be a lot more fun and fulfilling.
Ikigai
Ikigai is a Japanese way of living. It is the intersection of what we love, what we are good at, what the world needs, and what we can be paid for. This becomes our passion, mission, vocation, and profession. And in the center, our Ikigai.
Some maybe haven’t found their passion yet and need to explore.
Some may have found their mission and now need to build.
I love the ocean, traveling, and photography. I can make money with any of those three things. Theres lots of jobs or professions in travel, the ocean, and photography. Photography can be especially profitable or be used to further any profession.
But what does the world need?
I have a passion, something I’m good at, and a way to be paid. But what does the world need? I guess it’s another answer I need to find.
Conclusion
Over time everybody changes. Whether I like it or not. My goals might change over time, maybe I won’t be a photographer. But at this point. It seems I just need to follow where my heart takes me. And over time I need to figure out what I can give to the world.
Hopefully my ideas might give you a little insight into yourself.
