My 30 for 30 list comprises thirty countries I want to travel to before my 30th birthday. 30 years old will mark a new phase of my life, closer to having a family and hopefully a wife. Hehe. I’ll travel to these places before the age of 30 years old.

Brazil
Immediately after my high school career I will be visiting this beautiful country for one year with my friend Martin. Brazil is filled with gigantic cities populated by wonderful people and rainforests inhabited by amazonian creatures. You can find whatever you would want in this fantastic country.

Australia
The Great Ocean Road is my dream road trip, and the country of Australia is filled with many great drives. Whether you drive along the eastern coast or along the western coast, you’ll witness many beautiful sites and cities.

Italy
Cinque Terre has some of the most picturesque towns in the world. Colorful buildings fall right off the cliffside into the blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea. Walk along the streets the roman citizens used to walk a thousand years ago.

Turkey
The Bridge between Turkey and Asia, the city of Istanbul has an interesting layout, split in half between two continents. The hills in the city provide beautiful views of the Bosphorus Strait.

South Africa
If I’m honest South Africa doesn’t interest me as much as Cape Town does. That’s the real jewel of this wonderful country, the magnificent landscapes, and the picturesque mountains.

Thailand
The southern part of this green landscape-filled country is filled with tiny little tropical islands. Many of which I would love to visit and soak up the sun on, and take amazing photos.

Indonesia
Like Thailand but a lot better, this nation is populated with lots of little paradises on the water. Some with cliffs and waterfalls and other little secluded paradises burnt by the sun.

Japan
I have always wanted to visit Kyoto and walk along the ancient temples and small gardens. Or eat in the Kitchen of Japan. Osaka. Or visit Tokyo, the city with the largest population and crazy transportation system.

Vietnam
I have always dreamed of visiting the chaotic streets of Hanoi. And walking along the old markets smelling the fighting aromas. And look at the history of the country, especially the Vietnam war. Or relax on a boat in Halong Bay admiring the towering limestone cliffs.

Argentina
Buenos Aires is a colorful hub for the artists, musicians, and dancers of South America. Or if you’re into wine, head deep into the wine country by visiting Mendoza. Home to over 800 wineries.

Mexico
In the past few years Mexico has been rated as the top country to visit in the world for beaches, culture, and food. Of course, Mexico can be dangerous in certain parts but stay near the safer parts and don’t do dumb stuff. Visit the Mayan ruins in the famous area of Tulum or eat delicious cheap tacos in Mexico City.

Jamaica
The country of Jamaica is recognized for the sweet tunes of any Bob Marley song. The Leisurely lifestyle of floating along beaches and eating great food. I want to visit the laid-back Treasure Beach and hang with the locals.

Bolivia
Visit the highest capital in the world, La Paz. I’ve always thought it would be fun and stupid to bike along the famous death road. Bolivia is the place for anybody looking for lots of adrenaline-pumping adventures.

Peru
The famous Machu Picchu, to be honest, doesn’t really interest me at all. What really interests me is the capital city, Lima. I’ve always wanted to try the ceviche and walk along the shopping district. Or go surfing along the coast of Peru.

Iceland
The Land of Ice and Fire has always been one of my dream destinations. The dramatic landscape can change from thunderstorm to blizzard, then sunshine, and ending with a drizzle in a matter of hours. Such an unpredictable place.

Albania
I wish to walk along the streets of the UNESCO heritage site, Berat. Or discover the rapidly progressing capital city, Tirana.

Greece
Probably in my top three countries of Europe I want to visit, especially before my 30th birthday. Home to some of the best beaches in the world, not to mention the amazing food. Oh! It’s also really cheap!

Austria
Other than a good beach, Austria is my perfect winter destination. The beautiful mountains covered in the snow make the perfect backdrop for any Christmas photo.

Croatia
I have always thought Croatia seemed to be a fascinating country. But if I’m being honest I didn’t really know about it until 2022. Of course, those Instagram-able beaches cannot be skipped.

Montenegro
A small but lively country filled with history and amazing beaches. It’s a really underrated country that appears near the top of my list.

Mozambique
If I’m being completely honest I didn’t think anything about Mozambique until today. But as I look at the photos of the coast. I’m kind of blown away, earning this wonderful country a spot on my list.

Cape Verde
Just like Mozambique, I had no clue about Cape Verde until today. Even worse, I didn’t know it was a country. But just like the former, it has amazing beaches.

Namibia
Unlike the last two, Namibia has been on my bucket list for a long time. The towering sand dunes meet with crystal blue water. Has always called my name. The landscape is like that of some planet in a faraway galaxy.

Bhutan
An extremely expensive destination, but not because you would think. A small country tucked in the Himalayan mountains, Bhutan is extremely protected by its government. You have to have a designated tour group and guide as a tourist. Is it worth it?

Nepal
A kind of mysterious country for me. I don’t really know much about it but I’ve heard it’s very fun, so I might as well try it.

New Zealand
New Zealand is all around considered to be one of the most amazing destinations in the world. The beautiful scenery cannot be beaten. And I hope to visit someday, but I do think it may be a little overhyped. We’ll see!

Chile
Chile is an up-and-coming digital nomad hub, specifically Santiago, the capital city. I’d love to visit the capital and then make my way down to magnificent Patagonia.

Belize
Belize might be my top scuba diving destination, other than the Great Barrier Reef. It’s one of the best Central American destinations and it’s cheap. Not to mention beautiful.

Singapore
The famous gardens of Singapore look like something out of a science fiction movie. The one problem with this futuristic city is the price! But I definitely won’t be skipping out on this wonderful country.
Conclusion
That does it for my 30 countries before 30 lists, if you guys have any suggestions, please recommend them in the comments. If not, I hope I’ve inspired you to try one of these wonderful destinations.
