Unique Beach Destinations
Belize
Belize is a small mostly unknown country snuggled in a corner of Central America. But don’t be mistaken. Belize is lined with beautiful untouched beaches and covered in green jungle. It’s a go to spot for anybody who snorkels. A top snorkeling destination is Witconcrete Wreck. An abandoned ship left atop a reef waiting for time to break it down. I want to stay in Belize city for a few days then trek down to Glover Reef and explore around there. For any history buffs Belize has its fair share of Mayan ruins. And is perfect for any backpacker or well seasoned traveler who’s looking for adventure.
Puerto Rico
Laying under the sun as the waves lap against the beach sleeping off some seafood. This is Puerto Rico. A small island considered a commonwealth of America yet so unlike it. The people are poorer but maybe just a little happier. And the beaches and food are so much better. Miles of empty coast make this little island my favorite destination ever. Walk the cobblestone streets of Old San Juan and transport yourself to Europe. Or run in the waves of a hidden beach like Playa Escondida. The birthplace of artists such as Bad Bunny and Daddy Yankee. Don’t miss out on such a unique vacation.
Mozambique
Perfect for any seasoned traveler or newbie, Mozambique is filled with many beautiful sites. Miles upon miles of turquoise water is a treat for anybody’s eyes and should not be missed. Parque Nacional das Quirimbas might just be the most beautiful spot on earth. Lots of beautiful birds and marine life make it the perfect getaway for any traveler. Bazaruto is another beautiful beach spot and is known for its snorkeling and diving, a perfect Indian Ocean stay. Don’t miss out on this beautiful country.

African, European, and Caribbean
Little green islands populated by small little sea villages makes for a unique destination. Hiking along the green valleys and mountains of Santo Antao is a joy for anybody. A perfect mix of Caribbean island, European taste, and African traditions. Stay in the beautiful town Mindelo and relax in the beautiful blue water. This hidden jewel is perfect for a beach bum or full time hiker. And might be the most unique vacation on the list.
Green, green, and more green.
Bolivia
Bolivia does not have any beaches which reminds me of my own home. Yet still draws me in with its raw beauty. Green rainforests cover this vast country and are often overlooked because of the Andes Mountains. It features one of the most interesting tourist attractions ever, The Bolivian Salt Flats. A truly breathtaking site. Lake Titicaca is the largest lake in all of the South American Continent. I would love to spend some time in La paz then explore the Andes Mountains. Ending my trip in the rainforest.
Laos
A small country hidden between its two larger sibling countries. Thailand and Vietnam. Laos is a beautiful green country covered in Golden Buddhist Temples. Perfect for any adventure traveler with its mountainous landscapes. Lower to the ground are the 4000 little islands of the Mekong River. Perfect for chilling in the water and admiring the sunset. For a more fun time stay in Vang Vieng and explore quaint boutiques by day and party at night. Personally, I really want to stay a few nights in the world’s highest tree houses. Giving a fantastic view of this unique country.

Unmatched Beauty
Montenegro
A small country covered in the Balkan Mountains is the perfect unique destination for any traveler. Stay in the magical town of Kotor and admire the quaint European buildings in the shadows of the towering Balkans. If you want perfect water, swim at Petrovac’s beaches. Where the ancient roman villas sit along the ocean. On the border of Albania and Montenegro lies the pristine Lake Skadar. Perfect for early morning hikes and swimming in the warm water. Montenegro is straight out of a National Geographic magazine and home to some of the most beautiful places in Europe.
Guatemala
One of the prettiest Central American countries if not the prettiest. Guatemala is covered in 23 volcanoes and three that surround awe inspiring Lake Atitlan. Culture that travels far back into history. And large cities full of amazing architecture like Antigua. A fairytale-like city from back in time. For adventure visit Guatemala City, a big hit or miss for most with crumbling buildings and often compared to slums. Over 30% of Guatemala is rainforest and is pretty hard to miss. Perfect for any traveler who loves beautiful landscapes, visit this Central American Wonder.
Namibia
Towering sand dunes falling into the blue ocean below make for a scene out of Dune. Sandwich Harbour is the picture-perfect part of Namibia and at the top of my travel list. The Economic capital of Namibia, Windhoek, and the starting point for most travelers. Windhoek feels like Northern Europe and is the perfect place to begin a tour. Wait by a water hole and wait as animals come to you at Etosha National Park. Perfect for anybody who wants more adventure and loves nature. Or maybe you like a graveyard and explore Skeleton Coast’s ships. Either way Namibia is a beautiful country.

My Favorite Unique Vacation: Cook Islands
Blue, blue and more blue spread out as far as the eye can see. Except for 15 little volcanic islands hidden in the blue expanse. Only one airport is located in the whole country on the main island of Rarotonga. Covered in large mountains and home to one road that connects everything on it. This small island is like something out of Avatar or Moana. Massive green peaks tower over the residents. Giving an alien-like look to the islands.

1 Week in Destin
My parents wanted to go somewhere warm for spring break. What place is better than Destin’s white beaches and hot girls. So Dad, Drew, Mom, Martin, and I set off on our journey to Florida. Destin The Journey Driving to Destin If you’ve ever played the game...
